Nowy Browar Gdański is a place where history meets modernity. Our restaurant and brewpub were established in the heart of Wrzeszcz, within the walls of the former brewery in Kuźniczki—an area where beer has been brewed since the 18th century.

We make sure to preserve the brewing traditions of this site while giving them a new, contemporary form. We brew our own beers, inspired by both local history and global trends. Complementing them are carefully composed dishes—from Polish classics, through European inspirations, to light snacks perfect with beer.

Our interiors combine the industrial character of brick and steel with modern design. You can also visit the underground areas, where the tanks and fermentation room are located—the heart of the brewery where our beer is born.

The history of this place is especially important to us. It was here, in 1873, that the Danziger Aktien-Bierbrauerei was launched, and for decades it was one of the largest brewing facilities in this part of Europe. At its peak, it produced as much as 175,000 hectoliters of beer per year. Production continued until 2001, and today—after years of interruption—the brewing tradition has returned to Wrzeszcz in a new incarnation.

Currently, our space covers over 1200 m² and offers as many as 450 seats. The two-level dining hall lets you feel the breath of history while enjoying the comfort of a contemporary interior. On around 35 screens we broadcast the most important sporting events, giving every match or tournament a unique atmosphere here.

We also organize events, receptions, and corporate parties both intimate gatherings in a smaller circle and large events for over 200 people. The flexible space allows us to adapt the layout to individual needs, and our event menu ensures that every celebration becomes unforgettable.

Nowy Browar Gdański is not just a restaurant and a brewery. It is a place where the history of Gdańsk meets the present, and shared moments over beer and good food create new memories.
